Jan Jelinek - Paris Centre Pompidou
Jan and i have been playing at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
The support of the technicians was formidable. The concert hall reminded of a cinema with chairs upholstered in red velvet. I bought a barebone PC just for the concert, because my Powerbook is very old with slow graphics and i didn’t want to buy the current generation, because the graphics cards aren’t that good either. I wanted to use the new shaders and gave the PC version of MaxMSP Jitter a try. Afterwards i have to say that it was a drag to port the patches from the Mac to the PC. But the performance was worth it.
The concert went well, but the audience wasn’t extremely enthusiastic. The organizers told us later, that most of the audience had season tickets and were used to classical music.

SPECTACLES - CONCERTS
17 septembre 2005 - 20h30
