The video plays with the title of the album La Nouvelle Pauverté and the music piece My Favourite Shop. The footage was shot one saturday along “Europe’s shopping mile with the highest turnover”, the Zeil in Frankfurt am Main. In between the heavily distorted contours of passers-by, the letters “single items reduced” appear in a shop display window. The color surfaces dissolving into single persons are “reduced” as well.
